The rooms at the Steigenberger are big and really comfy—definitely more space than your typical airport hotel. You get an extra-long bed (which I love before a long flight), blackout curtains to help you sleep, and a kettle in case you need to grab coffee before breakfast starts. 

Now let’s talk breakfast. It’s a huge buffet, and people rave about the variety—fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, eggs, hot dishes, even some vegan options. It starts around 6:00 A.M. and runs until 10:00, which is perfect if you’ve got a morning flight. 

The only downside? It’s €28 per person, so if you’re not a big breakfast eater, that might feel a bit steep. Personally, I grabbed something quick (and cheaper) at the airport.

The rooms are clean, quiet, and spacious, with a modern, simple design that feels a bit more sleek and businesslike compared to Steigenberger’s slightly cozier feel. You’ve got soundproofing, AC, and a kettle to make your own tea or coffee.

Breakfast is generous and starts a bit earlier than at Steigenberger—from around 5:30 A.M, which is perfect if you’ve got a super early flight. 

There’s a live egg station, a mix of hot and cold items, plus fresh fruit and pastries. It’s slightly cheaper than Steigenberger’s breakfast, at around €25–26 per person, but still quite pricey if you’re not planning to eat much.

This hotel also has a wellness area, but it’s a little more fitness-focused. You’ll find a heated indoor pool, a small gym, a whirlpool, sauna, and even a steam bath.

The hotel also has a fun twist with its Greenhouse restaurant, which leans into more sustainable, plant-forward dishes. There’s also a cozy sports bar and a cocktail lounge if you want to relax with a drink in the evening.

A real showstopper? They’ve got a retired Boeing 747 parked in the garden, and guests can even explore the cockpit. It’s a quirky experience you won’t find at the Steigenberger or NH (and, dare I say, great for kids!).

The shuttle here is very dependable—runs every half hour from 4 A.M. to 11:15 P.M.—and I love the reliability, especially compared to the Steigenberger’s busy morning runs and NH’s on-request late-night service. Corendon really nails consistency.

Rooms are spacious, modern, and vibe with bright Delft-blue décor—a refreshing change from the more neutral styles of the other two hotels. They’ve got soundproofing, a kettle, mini‑bar, and decent desk space—basically everything you need to rehydrate and recharge.

Breakfast is a great buffet—continental basics plus hot options—slightly cheaper than the others (around €22–25), and there’s lots of food. 

Even better? There are three on-site restaurants, including a Mediterranean buffet, a casual bistro, and the Caribbean‑vibe Mondi SkyBar on the rooftop with killer views. This is the hotel with the most dining variety.

The rooms are clean and comfy, though maybe a tad smaller than the big brands. But the good news is that the beds are very comfortable, and blackout curtains make the room nice and dark for sleeping. It’s a great choice for a quick overnight.

Breakfast here is a more basic continental, running from 6 to 10 A.M. and costs around €18—definitely more affordable.

And as for perks? There’s a small gym and a bar/lounge with a TV—a great place to grab a drink or unwind before bed. No glamorous spa or pool like the others, but if you’re just planning to rest up before your flight, this place gets the job done. Another plus: there’s free parking, making it handy if you’re driving in.

Breakfast here is an extensive buffet available very early (from 4 A.M!) until noon . It’s cheaper than the 4-stars at around €18.

Unlike the classier hotels we saw earlier, Ibis shines for its 24/7 vibes: there’s a 24‑hour lobby café, a burger bar, and a grab‑and‑go spot if hunger hits late. It even offers a busy Park, Sleep & Fly package with free parking and shuttle for those behind the wheel.

On the atmosphere front, it’s more of a functional hub than a resort—you’ve got a small gym and a few food spots, but no spa or pool.

The rooms are compact and very basic—think double, or bunk-bed style setups, tiny bathrooms, and limited space to spread out. It’s all very clean and efficient, but you won’t find things like kettles, mini-fridges, or blackout curtains.

Breakfast is also simpler here than at the regular Ibis. It’s a simple continental buffet (pastries, toast, cereal, yogurt, and coffee), served from 4:00 A.M. to noon, and costs €12—which is the cheapest option we’ve talked about. 

Unlike the Ibis next door, this one doesn’t have a gym, bar, or restaurant—but the upside is you’re literally just a short walk from the full-service Ibis, so you can always pop over there for a hot meal or drink if you don’t feel like venturing out in the evening.

The Ibis Budget is ideal for travelers who just need somewhere clean, cheap, and close to the airport—with zero fuss.
